Burlap and Ruffles

Burlap and ruffles are all the rage and I finally got on the band wagon and made one.  I think it turned out quite nicely.  Because the burlap has unfinished edges, I did the same with the soft muslin ruffle.  I quite like it.  What do you think?  I am thinking that I might make a few of these to sell at a booth that is set up at Camp Meeting to make money for the district Ladies Ministries.  Do you think they would sell?

I am joining Skip To My Lou for Made by You Mondays.    You will find some great craft ideas there, so stop over and see what you can find.

Thanks for stopping by, have a beautiful Monday and don't forget to leave me a comment to tell me what you think.

My usual question on these things is "are we ready for this in our neck of the woods? It often seems we are about a year behind everyone else...it will be interesting to see how it goes. It's worth a try.

Adorable! I would like to see some of your creative artwork on one of them. Like the birds or maybe a monogram. Seems people go for the unusual sometimes.

It looks cute where you have placed it. I am not into the burlap thing, but I am sure there are some that would love it!

Hi Cindy,
Wow it is beautiful, I definitely think it would sell! And if it didn't sell there you could always try Etsy, I'm sure you would sell a ton there. Your kitchen is so pretty too.

Cindy,
It's very nice. I would buy it! If your area is a year behind, that just means you will be on the front side of the wave.
