More Burlap and Ruffles

Blogger won't let me insert text anywhere but here today.  Okay...

Today I am joining My Romantic Home for Show and Tell Friday.  My show and tell are my two new burlap and ruffles projects.  I recovered my Ikea footstool with burlap and then I made a pillow to go with it.  I stenciled a little bird on the footstool.  I'm not too sure about the flower that I made for the pillow.  What do you think?
Please leave me a comment to let me know that you were here.
I hope your Friday is sunny and bright!
Hugs,

And before I go, do you see the little green car sitting there?  Yes, the one with the eyes, there. That belongs to our little nephew who visited recently.  I think he looks pretty cute sitting there with the little chicken wire cloche that I made recently.  It makes me smile every time I see it.  It reminds me of two year old Kale.

Your ottoman turned out so cute! I'll definitely be looking for one at the Thrift store :) The burlap cover is just perfect on it, and the pillow is so sweet, too~ as well as the flower!

Cindy, I love your ottoman! I have a couple of ottoman's that I have been wanting to make silpcovers for, they are square, but you have given me some inspiration. Thanks for stopping by my post. Smiles, Marla

Cindy, I'm so impressed with you and these things you've made! Neat! Was it difficult to stencil that bird on the burlap? Did you use a special type of stencil ink? It looks so cute.

And I adore your cloche. I can't believe you made that! wow!

Have missed you...

XO,

Sheila :-)

This is so cute! I love the stencil too. I have one of those Ikea ottomans and this would be cute. I've thought about painting mine. Thanks for another good idea.

I'm so mad b/c your photo is not showing up on my computer! Have no idea why. It does that a lot. Wished I knew how to fix it. I'm sure your ottoman is beautiful b/c everything you do is. Have a great weekend!
