For anyone who thinks Manitoba is nothing but boring prairie landscape, all of these photos were taken in the Pembina Valley of Manitoba. And this area is nothing short of gorgeous! We ventured here for the first time on July the 1st, Canada Day. I hope you enjoyed the photo journey.
I am linking with Outdoor Wednesday over at A Southern Daydreamer and Watery Wednesday.
There is always lots to see there, so be sure to take a look. Thanks for taking the time to stop by here and leave a comment. I hope your Wednesday is bright and beautiful.

Edit: The golden yellow fields are planted with Canola. We all love Canola Oil, right? Well we grow and export a whole lot of it.

Hi Cindy,
I have never been to Manitoba but I'm sure it's as beautiful as you claim. Your photos are amazing! Thanks for sharing and Happy Wednesday.

Lovely :)
Some of those photos are frameable! Just lovely...especially those by the water. :)
I wanted to stop by and say thanks for your comment on my Keyring Photo Album project at The Shabby Chic Cottage. Hope you might stop by my blog sometime. :)
Hi Cindy,
So very Pretty! I want to go back to Canada. Did I ever tell you we took our vacation in Canada last year.WE enjoyed so much. It was the first time I had ever been on a ferry. We left from Port Angles and ferried over to Victoria.
Did you see my post?.
Hugs, Elizabeth
What is growing in the second two pics? the yellow stuff? very pretty.
Another thing about living in Canada was there is Central heating because of the hydro, and from your photos, the wind farm. We were living in a student apartment, and my flat mates even open the windows, much to the aghast of the landlord.
Now here in Auckland, we don't have central heating, and we only turn on the oil heaters when it is very cold.
Beautiful pictures, Cindy. Elizabeth from Home is where the Heart is sent me here. Canada is a beautiful place. I had no idea how Canola grew, such a striking yellow it is. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful scenes from Manitoba! The field of yellow is just gorgeous! Wonderful photos!
I had no idea how canola oil was made so now I know:-) Those golden fields are so pretty as well as the surrounding landscape photos. It is super flat here on Hilton Head Island.

Beautiful! I love all the green, that's why I could never be a desert person :-) It is just the best feeling to walk through a fresh, green, grassy field. Love all your pictures. Hope you're having a wonderful week my dear friend.
Much love,
♥Ana
This is beautiful, Cindy. Reminds me of some areas in Missouri. There are folks who believe all of Missouri is prairie!:-)
