While in Kenora this weekend, I tasted some very yummy cookies that the Pastor's wife had made and she was kind enough to give me the recipe. Now if you need something sweet and chocolaty in a hurry, this recipe is for you!
I gave them the name of Double Fudge Cookies, because they are made from Betty Crocker's Super Moist Chocolate Fudge cake mix and they have dark chocolate chips in them. Now does that sound YUMMY or what?!
Cookies and milk, anyone?
Here's the recipe:
1 chocolate fudge cake mix
1/2 cup oil
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup pecans
Combine all ingredients at low speed until thoroughly moistened. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Cool two minutes; remove from pans.
Makes 3 dozen.
Cut baking time if you want them really moist in the middle.
Enjoy with a glass of milk!
