~More Ruffles~

Happy Monday to all!!!

We are enjoying a beautiful COLD but sunny day.  I want to go for a walk so badly, but it is still -16 Celsius, at 11 am.  I will wait another couple of hours for it to warm up still more.

On Friday I made myself a ruffly apron with scraps of fabric that I had laying around.

I made a loop on it and then customized this kitchen towel to go in the loop and to match the apron.

It even matches my kitchen, which is very important of course!  Haha!

I've been doing a bit of playing in the living room, too.  I made a long pillow out of the feed sack that I won a few months back.  This couch is so deep that it is still quite comfortable with the pillow there and I love to sit in the corners of it, so I don't want pillows there.

Well that's about all I have to show and say today, have yourselves a good one!

Oh Cindy, so cute! I always wear an apron when cooking, but mine is so plain. I keep telling my husband I need a pretty and girl apron!

Hi Cindy,
That apron is so sweet... love the ruffles. Love the grain sack pillow, too. You're a very talented seamstress, Cindy. I always love getting a look at your beautiful vintage home.
Hope it warms up for you soon. :)
Have a great week!

I like your apron. I like wearing aprons. I need to make some all mine are old and tattered.
I have been to your blog a ton of times, and never noticed the dreamy yellow on the walls. I love that color ..I have it in mine now too. (it was too bright before) That picture could be in a magazine!
It looks inviting... seeing the door, looks like we're waiting on a visitor to walk in any moment!

pretty pictures.

How pretty!
I bought 50 aprons from a pizza place that went out of business. Plain white, easy to bleach because I get MESSY!
The last time I was gardening I wore my apron to the Home Depot to pick up plants and people kept asking me for assistance! LOL!
