~Monday's Show Off~

I have been working on my guest room for a while now.  The "Before" is actually quite scary.  It wasn't until I saw the photos that I had taken that I realized it.

Come on in and I will show you the changes.

Wait a minute, maybe I should show you what it looked like before it got it's mini-makeover.

It was kind of our junk room for a while.  Those burgundy drapes are so ugly in here.

I made the pillow.

I also made the curtain for the tiny window in there.  I need to make a small sign to go above the bed.  My aunt always says "Sleep Sweet" when we stay with her and we are headed to bed, so that is what I want the sign to say.

This room is SO tiny, it's hard to capture it.

Well, that's's an improvement, I think.  I'll show more photos when I am completely finished.

Are you working on a project around your house?  If so, what?

I will be back tomorrow to show you my favorite cupboard.  Sweet Shelia of Note Songs is having a party and she is so much fun, so I will be joining her.  Perhaps you would enjoy joining her as well, check it out.

Have a great Monday!

Your new guest room is very pretty! I'm slowly working on ours - slowly, slowly! All the furniture is presently in the middle of the room, one wall has been painted and the new drapes are waiting patiently to be hung. Will I ever finish?

Beautiful guest room Cindy!

We were at the lake when it snowed two weeks ago. There was nothing more than a dusting there. STL had a lot more! Fickle weather for sure!

Cindy, what a darling room! I love what you did, and those drapes are as cute as can be.

What am I doing? Getting trees out of your back yard that fell during a storm and dealing with workmen. Our fence is down in several sections as well as damage to the yard and to the bushes that need to be replaced or cut. But the sprinkler is okay (they came this morning), and the house was missed by FIVE feet. So I am busy praising God for His mercy.
