Fall Colors

Fall is certainly showing it's colors!
This is why I love Fall, I think, the warm colors are so beautiful.

This is the tree in our front yard, a Mountain Ash.

The trees along our street are slowly dropping all of their leaves.

This is the path through the park near our home.  It wasn't sunny the day I took this, but we have had a lot of sun this past week.  Despite that, we are feeling Winter's chill already.
I made myself a ruffled fleece scarf today, my boots are ready at the door and my warm coats have already been in use.
Is it getting chilly where you live, yet?
I hope you're ready.

Have a lovely weekend my friends.

Warm hugs,

Our daughter Marissa having a chat and a laugh with Abraham Lincoln in Keystone, South Dakota.

Your street is really pretty. The past few days here have been raining, cold and dark. A taste of things to come I'm afraid. We even had a little flooding thrown in! Hopefully things will improve. Enjoy your weekend...

It is getting cold here. I decided I will need to change to a heavier jacket tomorrow and the gloves definitely need to appear. Really liked your pictures.

I find it so enjoyable to watch the leave turn colors and fall each year. It's always such a pretty sight. Your photos are beautiful.

Our leaves are only beginning to fall here but we are still warm. Supposed to be in the 90s this weekend.

You live on a storybook-pretty street!
Today it was rainy and 12 degrees here - normal for this time of year. I found myself thinking about boots this morning, though, as I listened to the forecast for a hard winter on the island.

Hello Cindy, your pictures are beautiful of your street! Our leaves are turning here and are dropping too. I love the changes of all seasons but fall is my favorite.

Have a wonderful weekend,
Gail

Hi Cindy, I love the fall colours too...
We have been busy emptying the flower pots and pulling up the frozen annuals this week, but it has been nice to be able pick flowers for the house until now.
Have a great weekend!

I'm enjoying the cool weather this weekend. Actually I'm surprised you still have so many leaves on the trees ... I've always thought you lived way north of us but I may be wrong! That's a great statue of honest Abe!

Hi Cindy, I love the statue of Abraham L. insurance if we could have a pleasant conversation with him, would give great advice! Your daughter looks a lot like you! Autumn is beautiful, here we live in an eternal summer, feel the cold, but only 70 degrees or so in some parts of the island have been recorded but not more than 60 -65. Have a happy weekend. Blessings. Rose M

We've had some pretty nice temperatures here in the mid-teens and no frosty nights. The leaves are almost done with just eh yellows of the poplar, rusts of the tamarack, oranges of the maple and browns of the oak left. These colours looks so bright against the dark green of the softwood trees. Your street scene is pretty with it's leafy canopy. I have also had my winter jacket on a few times but some days are sweater days too. Hugs, Pamela

Hi Cindy! What a lovely street you live on and that tree in your front yard is so pretty! Looks like it has some red leaves on it. Nothing prettier than the color of fallness on the tree leaves.
What a precious picture of your daughter and ole Abe!
Thanks for popping in to see me and hope you're having a great weekend.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Hi Cindy!
Lovely photos! I love your mountain Ash ...one of my favourite trees. I used to have a beautiful one at my first house.
The weather here is beautiful and sunny. The colours are just amazing. I have to get photos before all the leaves fall!

Hello Cindy,
What a pretty tree-lined street. Are those red berries, on the lovely tree in your yard?
It's hard to realize that those scenes will be very different in a few months time! Still beautiful!
No, it's not getting too chilly here. Yesterday reached top of 27C, but today much cooler and raining. Ah well, that's what spring is like in this part of the world!

You have so nice photos. They are beautifull. Summer is my time, and I have to make me to find something nice in other times of the year. For autumn there are those warm colors, making marmelade and hot teas...

How beautiful! I love the tree in your front yard. It's getting chilly here. To me, it's freezing but you'd probably think it's just a little breeze. When the sun comes out in the middle of the day, it is very nice. The only problem is I leave the house in a sweater and boots and by the afternoon I'm burning up. lol Have a great week!

I love your street - it reminds me of the street I grew up on. Does the whole neighbourhood have a raking leaves party? that would be fun!

It was surprisingly warm here in NY when we returned home from California! I know the warm weather won't last much longer.
