~A Win And A Winter Tablescape~

Can you believe it is the middle of November already?!
I am going to start decorating for Christmas really soon.  But I am easing into it slowly.
I won a lovely set of cloth napkins with a matching t-towel which I have used as a table runner.
I won them from Martina over at Northern Nesting .
Thank you, Martina, they are so pretty and can be very Christmas-y, but can be used otherwise, too.

I used a napkin here.  Aren't they pretty?

And to add to that, I have found some darling little covered bowls and so I have decided to make a delicious Potato Soup for supper in order to use them.
Aren't they cute?
I have paired them with a ruby glass plate, a white plate and a dark brown leather charger.  I think the ruby plates really pop against the white plate.   I love snowmen because they are very Winter-y and not necessarily Christmas decor only.

I must have been using the wrong setting on my camera, because my photos are not usually this blurry .  So sorry for that.

One more thing,
Notice the chandelier candles, they are black in the before...

Before
After

...they are white now.  I think they look better.

The snow is gently falling, we are only meant to get a centimeter.  I love to see the snow falling and know that it won't cause any problems on the highways.
Have a lovely day my friends.

Warm hugs,

Congrats on your win! Lovely! Snow!? It's 80 degrees here today! I'm sweating. Don't know what happened to the fall weather we were having!
Have a wonderful evening!

Hi Cindy, even with the wrong camera, your home is still beautiful. Are those birds sitting in your windows over the lace curtains?

Your potato soup sounds yummy.

Snow? thankfully it is 70 degrees here but will be colder tomorrow.
And I am such a slow poke this year, I just put out the fall decorations yesterday.

Hope you did not get too much snow!

I love your snowman bowls and potato soup sounds good! A lovely table setting with your new napkins and runner. The white paint on your chandelier contrasts nicely with the black.
Hard to believe you have snow as we are approaching summer....looks cozy in your kitchen.

Potato soup sounds delicious. I've said this before but I never tire of seeing your kitchen. So nice for you to set a table and really enjoy it. The light looks great too. I have not thought about decorating for Christmas. I am looking forward to it though...have a good rest of the week.

It does seem like the time to start re-arranging a few things - maybe I'll have a look tomorrow. It's always a good day when I make a change here and there in the house. You are more optimistic about the snow than I am! Ours is here to stay...

I am way behind in checking my blogger friends posts so am just getting to yours today! Your table looks sweet with the new linens and the cute snowman bowls. I like the chandelier sleeves in white better too! The first snow fall is always so pretty but since we had ours a few weeks ago it's been gorgeous weather! I hope you're having a great week! Blessings, Pamela

Love the little change in the chandelier. Makes it look much more expensive. I suggested that to a client of mine and gave her the link to find bees wax covers. You are such a lucky girl to win the charming linens.

Hello Cindy ~ Your snowmen bowls are so cute! I too love snowmen because they are not only for Christmas. I am thinking of taking mine out as it snowed all night and is still coming down. Just makes me feel a little Christmasy :) I really like the change in your chandelier. Made a big difference.
Have a lovely day.
