~Christmas Glow~

Happy last Monday before Christmas!
I am enjoying the glow of the lights, knowing that they won't be up much longer.

I painted the little J O Y plates this weekend, I may leave them up after Christmas.
I need J O Y all year long, how about you?
I went thrifting this weekend and I found this musical Santa, he fit my color scheme and he is so lovely that I just had to have him.  I paid $1.00 for him.

I also found this little vintage boys choir, aren't they sweet?  I only payed about $1.15 for all three.

My cloche is all ready.  There was no room for them in the Christmas village, so they all got together, formed a company and went under-cloche!

My little Snow Lady insisted on snow, so here she is!

The weather has been very strange this year.  It was barely freezing yesterday, but big fat snow flakes were falling, so I went for a walk.  I LOVE walking in the snow, do you?
Does you have snow yet?  Be sure to tell me if you do, I love to hear what's happening in your part of the world.
Enjoy your day, my friends!

Big warm hugs,

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that St. Nick soon would be there!

I like your JOY plates Cindy! You sure got a good deal on the sweet Santa and choirboys. It's been very cold here since Saturday but sunny. It's snowing right now but we're only getting a few cm. tonight. Warmer weather for Thursday. A green Christmas here? I don't really care cause it'll be a white one in Northern Alberta where we'll be! Have a lovely week and I think I'll wish you a very happy and blessed Christmas just incase I get too busy and forget. Happy Christmas my friend! May you be blessed. Love and hugs, Pamela

Hi Cindy, That beautiful effect of light on the fireplace, not to mention the beautiful treasures that you bought for as little $! I really liked the holy fusha is beautiful! this part of the world throughout the year is summer! We see a lot of seasons, but still welcome. I have felt colder than 70 degrees is more or less. In mountainous areas. I live near the beach, coastal zone and ther and we solve it with a coat or scarf of lightweight fabric, well, I hope God will grant the desires of your heart, and keep all your Fam Greetings, Rose M

Your JOY plates looks beautiful Cindy and I can't blame you for wanting to keep them displayed. You sure did score at thrifting this weekend! Love the vintage choirboys. Our weather here in Maryland has been a little crazy...warmer than normal. Hopefully by the end of the week, it will feel more like least that's what they are saying.

Wishing you and your family Cindy a very Blessed Christmas. Hugs my friend, Gail

No snow here in NYC as yet, Cindy, but we were in Colorado last week visiitng our children and grandchildren and there was snow on the ground. The air wasn't too cold, however.I was happy we flew out yesterday as they are having more snow today and we might have been delayed.

Your cloche Chrstmas scene is so beautiful! I also like your painted "joy" plates and thrift Santa.

Have a very Merry and Blessed Christmas!

It all looks so beautiful, basking in the glow from the lights. We'll leave everything lit until the 6th of January, so there's still some 'glow' time left!

Beautiful Christmas decorating's hard to believe it will all be over soon. We have a fair amount of snow in BC but at least it hasn't been too cold yet.

I purchased my large lantern at a newly opened home decor shop in our little town...a little pricey but I loved it!

Hope you enjoy a wonderful holiday season with your family! ~Deb~

It was in the 60s and raining here, Cindy. And, I have to admit, I love that. ;) The rain smelled so good... the leaves are still so beautiful... almost Christmas lights themselves. Ahhh... snow or rain, the important part is that we are enjoying the gifts of our seasons of life. blessings ~ tanna

Hi Cindy,
I love your cloche vignette. What a great idea for using extra village elements. I may just buy some for the very reason of creating a cloche!
