This will be my last post for some time, I am planning on enjoying my Christmas week without worrying about my little blog.
But before I go I have a treat for you, listen to this award winning choir sing "Joy to the World".
This church, Atlanta West Pentecostal Church, is a part of the same church organization that I have belonged to and loved all of my life.    I hope you enjoy it.

My son and his wife and children will be with us on Christmas day.  We will enjoy dinner, opening gifts and playing games.  It is always so much fun having them here.

This morning I could see that it was snowing and the sun was shining at the same time.  If you look closely you will see snowflakes.

A snowflake is  a snowflake by any other name,

And though them may all look alike,

No two are the same.

The poor little tree is leaning...I need to go out and straighten it up.

I pray that all of you, my dear readers will enjoy a wonderful, joy filled Christmas and may the Lord send many blessings your way in the year 2012.

Warm hugs,

Beautiful pictures Cindy. It looks like you'll have a white Christmas. I guess we're getting 2-4 cm. here tomorrow so there may be a bit on the ground for Christmas. I know there's lots where we'll be. :) Merry Christmas my friend. Blessings and hugs,

I am wondering what that bit of red is in one of the pictures of the trees? HOpe you are having a relaxing week. We are off to visit my daughter's family in the morning. You asked about the picture in my room with the waves crashing. It is a picture of the barrier that is right in downtown Charleston, SC. It helps to protect all of those beautiful old homes!

nannykim said...

PS. It is hard to actually see the barrier in the picture because of all of those waves (this would happen in a hurricane)

Cindy! I knew I liked you! I had no idea you were a Pentecostal, but by the way you love the Lord, I should have known! :-)

What a great choir. Think how much fun we are going to have when we are all in Heaven some day together. What a joyful noise we will make.

I hope your Christmas was wonderful, and I also hope that your New Year will be especially blessed.

Love to you and yours,

Sheila... who is celebrating having my computer back! YEA! :-)
