My Turquoise Kitchen

Hello my friends,

Today I shall show you my kitchen.  The longer I live with it the more I like it, no, the more I love it!
It feels so good.  I was hoping it wouldn't feel cold, green and blue are cold colors, but no, it feels bright and happy instead.

This was a mis-tint that I bought for $10.00, a C-I-L Dulux Paint.  There's no name or number on it, it is a Velvet Flat Latex.  It was truly the best $10.00 I ever spent.  It was very easy to paint with, the paint is almost of a gel consistency.  I had no drips and when I used the roller it didn't splatter, like some are known to do.

Have a look and tell me what you think.

I hope you like it!

My friend Ana, of A Petite Cottage exchanged hearts with me at Valentine's.  The one she sent me is simply adorable.  She is so thoughtful, it has a turquoise bow on it.  Thank you dear Ana.  Every day I learn to love you ladies more, bloggers really are the most wonderful, thoughtful people in the world.  That's not to say that my readers that don't have blogs are not perfectly wonderful too, like my little sister Susan, who reads my blog faithfully and my daughters also.  I love you girls!

Several centimeters of snow fell yesterday and today.  I took a walk in the softly falling snow, it was so lovely and peaceful.

Have a lovely day!
Hugs to you all.
Cindy

Oh you have been busy! The color is perfectly you. I think the heart you received is adorable. I made a few hearts earlier in the month and gave them as gifts. They were very fun to make...especially the embellishments. Enjoy the snow. We have none. In fact today it rained. Makes me wonder what March will bring! Hope your week is going well. Thank you for your steady visits to my blog. I appreciate your friendship so much.

Oh my, oh mercy me!!! When you said you were using turquoise, I was imagining bright and to be honest, I was kinda cringing at the idea. LOL. Wow, was I wrong!! I absolutely love the pale, soft and subtle color. Cindy, dear, I can see why you have come to love it.
I can picture you walking down your lovely tree-lined street with the bit of snow.
