Good morning, there are many changes going on in my little cottage.
I want to give you a small glimpse into what I'm referring to.
I'm afraid I've not visited you, my friends like I would have liked to simply because I have not had the time.
But...as you will see I will have lots to show you... in time.
First the kitchen, can you see that little bit of turquoise wall? The kitchen now has a coat of primer and a coat of turquoise, but it needs one more coat. I will be doing that as soon as I finish this post.
And the living room...
My son, the bricklayer was here for two days this week and he has refaced our fireplace, and I love what it looks like now. There will be more photos to come of that once it has a new mantel and the walls are painted.
The paint is called Wax Sculpture by Behr. It's a primer and paint in one, I hope the living room and hallways will only need one coat. I'm praying that it does!
I am very grateful to God that I'm capable of painting!
We received several centimeters of snow yesterday so everything is beautiful and white today. So pretty!
Have a lovely day my friends,
Cindy
There are my beautiful Valentine tulips from my sweet husband.
What do you think of my paint color so far?

Beautiful changes. Beautiful flowers! Who whould've thought your kitchen could be more wonderful?!
I can't wait to see your reveal!! I used the Behr paint & primer to do my master bedroom and it has become my new go-to paint! (never thought I would desert Ben Moore, but oh well!!)

OMGoodness Cindy, it does look like you've been busy! So far everything is looking beautiful! Can't wait to see the reveal. Enjoy your day and don't work too hard, Gail
Love the color! And can't wait to see your fireplace! What a lot of work you are doing. I need to get to painting two bathrooms but can't figure out a color ...
Can't wait to see what you've been up to Cindy...your wall color is beautiful!
I love the soft blue Cindy. That's what I wanted to paint our kitchen but it adjoins the dining/living room and the blue just wouldn't go with the furniture. :( I'll look forward to you reveal of the living room and fireplace. Have a great weekend. Hugs, Pamela
Yes, Cindy, you are such a tease!! The turquoise will make your cabinets stand out beautifully and I'm sure the fireplace is going to look beautiful as well. Really looking forward to seeing the finished product.

Aunt Cindy <3 I Absolutely LOVE the color! Very fresh and clean, a beautiful transition from the yellow (which I also loved) but changes are always fun and exciting!
Nothing like having your own son do the fireplace =) That's pretty special.
You must be very busy.
I like to take the time to thank God for those things we often glimpse over.. sometimes just being in good health and having the energy to go to work, go outside and take walks, or go to church and worship God. We need to appreciate these blessings, just like YOU - painting, that's awesome! =)
Love you so much!
You're sure spending the winter wisely Cindy. I hope that everything you change in your dear cottage looks as you'd like it to. How wonderful to have a son who's a bricklayer and also has time to help you with your fireplace!
Cindy, you are doing a fabulous job refreshing your home. I really like the wall color. I think we are going to be pleased with the results just as you are. Hope everything goes smoothly and quickly for your sake. Painting can be a pain in the neck, literally. Have a pleasant and productive weekend dear friend.---------Shannon
