A New Light Fixture

Hello my friends!  I'm so glad you've come by, I don't have a newly completed project to show you today, but I do have something new!
While at Rona last week I went down the aisle that usually has marked down light fixtures on it.  There were none.   But, as I was leaving the lighting department, I happened to look up and look at the lovely fixtures that were hanging and I saw one that was normally priced at $114.00, marked down to, are you ready?!   $25.00!
I loved it immediately, but I wasn't real sure I should buy it.

But after thinking about it, my hubby and I went together to look at it and we brought it home.  Only $25.00, you can't beat it.  I love the price and the fixture!

Before:

After:

Our eating area is so small and when my tall hubby stood up from the table he would often hit his head on the fixture that was there.  I don't think he'll hit his head on this one.

I hope you had a wonderful weekend, I was gone from Thursday morning until yesterday late, to a conference.
If I haven't been around to visit you yet, that is why, but I will do my best to, real soon.
Thank you so much for coming by for a visit.
Have a fabulous day!

Hugs,
Cindy

What great light fixture and fabulous price! That should definitely solve the hitting on the head problem! My husband has to be careful with our DR chandy. I'm thinking I need to raise it.

Hi Cindy, I love the change, but if your husband favored "is a real purchase. In your previous post telling us your work, to cover the couch, I congratulate you. I have long thought as a furniture line for two, and it seems a difficult job, and to order or buy these liners costs $ $, so I think you have given me inspiration to try! greetings, Rose M.

You got a really great deal Cindy, and best of all it looks great in your home. I'm glad this light will work out better for your husband. My brother is 6'4" tall, so he too has trouble with things in the way in houses, so I know how that is.

Hope you're having a great Monday!

very pretty and what a great deal!
about those low light fixtures, our home has 2 very heavy fixtures in both dining areas. One was hung low so it could be seen from the front window. The very first night we lived here, hubby was unpacking boxes and banged his head into that heavy fixture. It broke his scalp open more than an inch long.
Electrician son raised that dangerous fixture for us the very next day.

Your new candelier is beautiful and just the right size for that spot. It was a wonderful bargain..what a lucky find!

What a deal on the light!! I know what it is to have a light in which the guys hit their heads--I have had those aplenty. This is one reason why we got rid of the light we had over our dining area --If I didn't have the table just so they would hit their heads. Was the conference a Christian one or something else?

So do you have cork flooring on your kitchen floor? If so how do you like it --how does it stand up to water and food spills and things?

I love the new fixture Cindy. Everything is looking beautiful at your house.
