Blog Break

It's another beautiful day where I am, and that's not in Manitoba.

I'm at my daughter's house again, not for a fun visit this time. But rather, to help her with the children.
At one time, I blogged about my oldest daughter, Carolyn, who had cancer when she was sixteen. She had to have her left femur and knee replaced with a medal rod and an artificial knee.
A piece in her knee has broken, and she's on crutches at the moment. But she is slated for surgery on Tuesday.
So I'm here to look after her two, (eight year old girl and five year old extremely active boy), and to take care of the house until she's back on her feet. Otherwise her husband would need to do it, and it's important that he is able to work, of course.
That could be  several weeks, but that's what a mom is for, is it not?

(Her house is so pretty, I enjoy helping her with it. I love the ticking on her couch.)
And of course I love all of them, so it truly is my pleasure.
That's what being a mom is all about.

I won't be around here for a very long time, though, as it's nearly impossible to spend time on the internet.
I'm exhausted by the time evening arrives and there is no stopping all day long.

I will try to come around and say hello to those who leave me a comment today. Other than that, I'm on break.

I would appreciate it if you could remember Carolyn in prayer on Tuesday, June the 26th.

Have a wonderful summer, my friends.
And thanks so much for all of your sweet comments.

I'm sure she is so grateful that you are able to help her out - I know I would be.

She does have a very pretty house - love the bird prints on top of the cabinet.

Have a great summer!

Of COURSE I'll pray today AND tomorrow! And don't you DARE come over to comment on my blog. You just save your energy for all the extra that's on your "plate" today. I believe you are going to experience and unusual personal blessing as surely as I KNOW you are a blessing to your daughter and her family. ♥

It's wonderful that you are able to be with your daughter and to help her through this period. If you are in BC and anywhere on the Island, please let me know if there is ANYTHING I can do to help. Prayer, yes, and of course - but anything else. Just email.

Dear Cindy,
You are a wonderful mother and I know your daughter must appreciate your help and especially your company at this time. Little children can be exhausting and I'm not surprised you feel very tired by the time they go to bed!
My thoughts and good wishes to your dear daughter for her surgery and take care of yourself.

Darling Cindy, my darling friend... I didn't know your daughter's story... Of course I will miss you so much, but you have to think to her now, and stay close, that's natural! I'll be waiting for your coming back, ok?
For now a big big hug to you and to your daughter!
