Thanks so much my friends for praying for my daughter.
Her operation went well, but she has been dealing with a lot of nausea after the fact. She came home two days ago, and I've been finding a lot of things that the kids and I can do away from the house right now.
We started out at a school track at 9:00 this morning and I was able to walk around it for three quarters of an hour. It was wonderful!
We've been to every park in town and eaten out a few times. The kids are loving that!
Things should get better from here on out.
Thanks again for praying for her and for your kind words, they mean a lot.
A friend of my daughter's lives in a log house.
It's so pretty.
We visited there one day this week.
It's rugged looking from the outside and
the inside is comfy and homey looking.
Thank you again for your kind words and prayer!
I haven't been around to visit anyone, I don't know how moms of young children blog, it's impossible for me these days.
Have a good weekend.
Hugs, Cindy

I just caught up with you!
I'm so sorry to hear about the trouble your daughter has had-I will pray for a quick recovery!
It's great you are able to be there for her.
Oh my, we do get tired more easily at our age, don't we? But I'm sure you're making wondeful memories with your g'children now.
And that log home is gorgeous-all rustic with it's wooden shakers. I'd love to see the inside, as well.
Your daughters home reminds me of yours. What a compliment to your style design. And I have those same bird pictures that she has on her armoire. I need to display them like she has-so pretty!
Have a Happy Canada Day tomorrow!
Dear Cindy,
I can imagine how tired you must feel. It's a full time job keeping children happy and occupied, especially the very active ones! You are doing a great job.
So glad to know that your daughter's operation went well, but know how debilitating nausea can be. Hope she starts to come good soon.
Happy Canada Day to you and yours Cindy. Hope you can celebrate in some small way.

Hi Cindy really glad to hear your daughter is doing well. A bit of peace and quiet always does the trick. Even without young children it's difficult to blog all the time. I love this log house. A real prairie looking house... Take care Sharon x

Good to know the update. I have been praying for Carolyn and now I know how to continue.
That's wonderful news Cindy! So glad to hear that she's on the mends. You and your family will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. Happy Canada Day to you, Gail
Thank you for the update on your daughter. Knowing that her children are being well cared for and kept busy will help her recovery go so much better. What a blessing that you are able to be there for her and the family.
I love that log home. Very charming. We lived in a log home for years but I'm sure this one looks MUCH nicer. Ours was extremely rugged and not built very well but it was home. :)
Hi Cindy, glad to hear that your daughter is getting better. Hope the nausea subsides...and she recovers quickly.
Glad to see you're getting some exercise and enjoyment with the grands! I don't know how people with little ones blog either...I have my grands here almost everyday (at least one of them) and I stay busy.
I tell you... it seems like the rest of the house goes to pot!
anyway, that log cabin looks nice. That scenery out the pasture way...reminds me of here!
It would be interesting to see the inside... I bet it is comfortable!
take care, and post when you can.
Continued prayers for your daughter.
blessings, Pat

Hi Cindy! I've missed you and hope you're doing well and your daughter too! Thanks for popping in to see my little Glitter houses.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Looking forward to another update on your daughter. I know what you mean about helping out a daughter and about being exhausted too! This is why we are meant to have children when we are not OLD is what I say ;-). Once I was helping my daughter out after the birth of her third child--at the time her other two were 2, and 3 and I had a HORRIBLE cold--man, it was one touch situation!! But I still had to keep up with them! It was great when I finally got home and rested!! But I sure do love being with them!
I'm so sorry I missed knowing that your daughter had surgery, Cindy! I'm so glad everything went well and that she is recovering. I will keep her in my prayers. It was so good you were able to go out and help her and watch your grandchildren. I know how exhausting that can be -- we are out of practice taking care of young children :)
Hi lovely,
I'm SO glad that your daughter is doing well - and that YOU are doing well. You sound as though you are being an awesome grandma!!
Sarahx
