A Horse Is A Horse Of Course!

Hello my friends, I'm so glad you have come by.

As Carolyn, my daughter, began to feel better she also began to feel creative. Lately little Miss B (her eight year old) has become interested in horses and had been asking her mom for a bedroom decorated with horses. And as they have just bought a sweet little house, Miss B will have her horse-y bedroom.
And this is what her mom made for it.

It is a Pottery Barn knock-off.
For instructions on how this is done go Here to Evolution of Home. Carolyn found her own image on a clip art program and Staples enlarged it for very little money.
I think it looks fabulous!
I watched her do it and it really is pretty simple.

Little Miss B hung her cow-girl hat on the knob and it looked even better. It would be fun to make and sell these locally, not sure where I would sell them, though.

Enjoy your day!
Hugs, Cindy

She may love horses, but she is all girl. (The blurred image is on purpose.) She still enjoys tea-parties with her dolls and stuffies.

I love the horse up there on the armoire. Perfect place and the hat is the finishing touch. I heard from Tammy Wallace. I think her blogging days are over. She is teaching preschool in Jackson, Mississippi. They have already started so she's swamped. They don't have a house yet and are living in an apartment. She seems OK though. I'm am going to try to keep in touch with her if I can...have a good week my friend.

Your daughter did a great job. I will have to check out the instructions. Looks like something I would like to try. I like the added touch of the hat.

Miss Victoria 8, my grandgirl, just adores horses too! There's a beautiful country hacienda turned into an Inn, that belonges to my Bil, and we go there to rent her a horse, when she comes here for a visit and so she can ride it for an entire day! They're so cute, aren't they?? How wonderful for you to encourage your princess with her passion, she must be thrilled with a granny like you! Thanks for your visit, honey.

What a sweet idea! I'm sure you could sell these at a small shop in your area or on line. Little Miss B is quite the little lady dressed in her pink and white dress having tea. Lovely photo. Blessings, Pamela
