Catching Up

While I was in the USA helping my daughter's family, we celebrated the 4th of July. (See what I mean about catching up?)

We spent part of the 4th at the River on a pretty little beach, with a picnic supper it was a perfect day!

Because I was born in the USA of American parents and went to school there through the 3rd grade, I am still a very patriotic American.

The photos in the last post were pretty bad, I think, so here are a few that are better.

My day is sunny and bright, I hope yours is too.
Have a beautiful weekend.
Hugs, Cindy

Very pretty! It is hard to take indoor photos sometimes. I am inspired by the ruffled lampshade. The colourful pillows are very pretty.

I moved to Canada 11 years ago and I'm still very patriotic too! I like to celebrate Canada Day and the 4th of July.
We also observe both Thanksgivings.
You can take the girl out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the girl!!

Nice! I know what you mean about enjoying small changes, And I think a fireplace mantel is more challenging to decorate than I would ever have though. But a fun challenge! Yours looks good!

No, it is not sunny today but the clouds bringing a little very needed rain are appreciated.

Hi Cindy,
I have been catching up much going on here.
I love your new look in your living room. I have been putting away things too, it seems I alway have to much out on the shevles and counters. Your home is always lovely and so peaceful, such a sweet place to be.
Sending big hugs your way, Elizabeth

Hello Cindy

I didn't know you were born in the US! Do you have duo citizenship?

I have been very busy trying to de-clutter my house to get it ready for sale. I have too many books and magazine collections and have alot to recycle.
