Hello my friends,
I am excited to show you my latest find.
A free find.
This last weekend was "Giveaway Weekend" again, here in my fair city.
So, on Saturday my hubby and I toured our neighbourhood to see if we could find anything interesting.
We found a lovely old chest of drawers, but not much more.
I was disappointed and I told Ray, "One of these days I hope to find a Vintage Fan, I want one so badly."
I hadn't even seen them in the antique stores here, so my hopes were not real high.
We continued on the other side of the main street in our area and what to my wandering eye did appear!?!?!
Yes, a little vintage fan.
Isn't it just adorable?
I plugged it in and it runs very quietly, such a delightful little thing!
Have you found anything interesting recently?
Tell me about it.
Enjoy your week!
Cindy

Sweet! Good for you, Cindy!
What a great little fan! It is the perfect colour for your decor too. I haven't had time to look for any treasures for ages. :( Hugs,
Pam
Great find! I'm so glad it works as well!!
That is a precious fan! I would have had my husband plug it in first...lol
Don't stick your finger in it while it is running. :) it is a really attractive color. I just remember black ones.
I have not been out thrifting much except to shop for a buffet or hutch type piece of furniture and have not yet found one.
Oh Cindy, what an wonderful find and the color seems to match your beautiful home perfect!! Hope you have a wonderful day my friend, Gail

that is a beauty cindy!!
Wow! What a great find - love the look and color.
Hi Cindy, I cannot believe you found the fan and that it works! I love it. I see replicas at the stores and they are very pricey!
At a thrift store recently, I found some brand new, very large and cute cloth dinner napkins. They still had the tags on them. I checked online and 4 sell for $32 - I paid $4!!!
Have a pleasant evening. Mildred
How exciting Cindy! Such a treasure.
It looks perfect in your home.
What an adorable little fan and the fact that it runs so quietly and smoothly makes it an even better deal!! How blessed you are!
Cindy,
It's adorable! And so little! What a great addition to the table!
Have a great day rock star!

Love your fan, Cindy.. I have had a few in the shop but people do like them and they don't stay for long..
What a wonderful idea for your city..
God bless...
I think those older fans with the metal blades work better than the new ones made of plastic !
Love, Lorraine
Wow, Cindy! You found this for free?
Amazing and it still works.
Maybe they had little hands that could get caught in the blades and so got rid of it or something. Anyway...it looks great.
I love the color.

On our family vacation, we toured the U.S.S. Battleship North Carolina and there was a fan just like this. I love it.
Wow Cindy! That's an amazing find! That fan was made back when things were made to last and not to break and be thrown in a year or two like a lot of today's consumer goods! Angie xo
