I'm back and glad to be so.
We had a wonderful holiday, we were gone for a grand total of three weeks, nearly four.
I was glad to be back in my own bed and little home, though.
Now I am missing my girls something terrible.
The perfect world for me would be to live in the same town as all of my kids, I think. But that is impossible, because none of them live in the same town as the other.
Kitchen Christmas Decor
I am slowly getting things done, my kitchen was the first room that I tackled. I have moved things around, you'll see what I mean as time goes on.
I found the little enamel angel at an antique store during our travels.
I found the little enamel angel at an antique store during our travels.
The sideboard has been decorated, of course!
A smiling snowman is under the cloche, he's got his skis, so I think he's hoping to ski right out of there.
And then the little bookcase next to the table was next.
I can see that I need to tweak the shelves, just a little.
I'll show you where I put the curtains and the table that were here, next time.
Thank you to those who have helped me with my photo problem, I appreciate it. I went ahead and purchased more storage and I'm back in business.
Have a lovely day,
Cindy
A delightful little town that we discovered while traveling the I-90. I'll tell you more about it as time goes by!

How nice you were able to spend time with your girls!!
I, too, wish my children were all handy to visit, it's hard being so far away.
Your home is looking very holiday happy. It sure didn't take you long to get the decorating going!
Glad all is well.
Kimberly
I think I know how you feel about living nearer your children (none of our 3 live in the same town either)...
I like the blue bulbs. I have a bowlful of them and really need to figure out how to distribute them!

Glad to hear you had a great trip and are now home and settled in. Your kitchen decor is very pretty. I love the red and turquoise with all the white. Are those vintage balls? Very pretty. I ended up having to buy extra storage monthly too. Couldn't find a way around it.
Hi Cindy.. so glad to hear from you and happy you are home.. And speaking of which it sure looks wonderful..
Our style is different but I love how yours look.. Lovely..
It's looking like Christmas at your house! Glad you're home--safe and sound. . .
Welcome back Cindy! It's nice that you area back blogging after your time away with your family. It's difficult to be away from daughters and grandchildren. You've added some sweet touches to your kitchen. It looks very cozy as always. Hugs, Pam
Welcome back! I love the turquoise and red together in your Christmas kitchen and that little town looks so enchanting! I love little towns especially ones at the foot of a mountain like that one! You asked how I was feeling...I am doing pretty good--at least feeling pretty good. We are still seeing the dr for sonograms and nonstress tests twice a week, but things are looking okay and we are just 2 weeks from delivery (unless I go into labor before then.)
Hi Cindy! Glad you're back home and I've missed you! I feel just like you and wish my kids lived closer so I could watch my little grand daughter grow up. But it is what it is.
Now, your kitchen looks so sweet and festive and I'm ready to see more.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
oh, so nice to have you back.
the subtle red and aqua with your pretty white kitchen is so pretty.
Can't wait to hear about the town on I-90, it looks like a town in a Christmas movie location.
What a wonderful time you must have had. My first child is getting ready to move out and I have shed many a private tear. I feel so uneasy about this next phase. I think it will take time for me to get used to it. I sleep better with all my chicks in the nest.
Your home looks so pretty, Cindy. I love all the white you have with little touches of red and turquoise.
I'm glad you had a nice vist with your daughters. I know how hard it is to live far away..I am lucky that my daughter decided to move near my son as now that they are together we can move closer to them!
I've had to buy extra photo storage for a few years -- I used upthe free storage rather quickly :)
So pretty, Cindy! I love the aqua and red decorations!
Hi dearest Cindy!

Changing the kitchen decor isn't the only thing you've been doing. I noticed the new header...very nice!!
Sometimes the littlest things make the biggest impact and what you are doing is lovely. Like the little pops of red and turquoise. I've gotten my Christmas decorations out of the attic but haven't done anything yet. Time to get busy!! Hope you have a lovely day.
I miss you too, Mom! Those turquoise Christmas bulbs are gorgeous, and I love your little Ski-man. Your house is so festive, warm and cheery! I will be thinking of that while I'm up in Manning on Christmas Day. Love you bunches!
Hi Cindy,
I see you do like change too! Love how you decorated your side board in your cosy kitchen.
Take care,
Carolyn
