February Blizzard and What's Happening?

Yes, it snowed and blew up a perfect storm Sunday night and Monday most of the day.
I didn't realize the roads would be bad and I drove to a ladies breakfast, I haven't driven on roads like that for a very long time.

It's sunny with a clear blue sky today, but
The temperature gauge reads -26 Celsius and with wind-chill it's -40 C.
Needless to say, I didn't go for my morning hour long walk this morning.
I do still need to go out this afternoon, but it's only a ten minute walk one way.
Perhaps the wind will have died down by then.

Recently Beth Livesay from Romantic Homes magazine contacted me and asked me to send her five or six photos that best represented my blog.  She said that she is in charge of "Site Seeing" and that they are seeking out the most inspiring bloggers on the web to feature on their pages.
These are the ones that I sent.
I sure it will just be a tiny spot, but still!!!
We shall see which ones will be used in the June issue.
I had a terrible time deciding. I asked my daughter, Carolyn, her opinion, so she helped me.
But still...we shall see.

Have you had the opportunity to send a magazine your photos?

Would you have a hard time deciding?

Thank you for coming by and thanks so much for your sweet comments.

Have a good day!

Oh my but that's cold there Cindy! Wow. I hope it doesn't come east to us. We got home last night and found lots of snow everywhere and there is another storm coming tomorrow. We sure are getting a good winter here this year! Congratulations on getting published in magazine Cindy! That is so exciting. I like the photos you chose but what about one of your pretty kitchen area and the white cabinet/shelf there? You'll have to let us know when it is published. Have a great week and stay cozy. Hugs, Pamela

Love seeing photos of your house. I was in Romantic Homes last year and yes...I had a hard time deciding what to send. They then asked for more photos for an article. It's fun to see yourself in print. I haven't had any requests since then. But my blog was not very good the last half of last year - no most of last year and part of the year before because of personal stuff. I feel like I am just now getting back to posting original stuff after a long time of barely getting posts out. Can't wait to see you in the issue. I feel guilty that you are having such bad weather. It's been a warm winter here....although we are in a terrible draught. We are hoping for rain end of the week.

Very good photos and I hope they use yours. It's going to get colder here and we have snow in the forecast for this week. Good days for being inside doing those things we enjoy. :)

Brrrr! It is cold there.

How exciting you will have a feature in a magazine. I don't think I'd have trouble deciding because I don't have a home that will be featured in a magazine. It's comfortable but not magazine ready ;-)))

Congrats Cindy on being chosen for the magazine! I think any of your home photos are great.
But one of my favorite is your lovely kitchen built ins. I just love them.
I think we are getting your storm right now. It has been blowing and snowing all day here.
