I Made A Red Purse

Oh what a beautiful morning,
Oh what a beautiful day,
I've got a wonderful feeling,
Good things are heading my way!!

Whine time is over!
The sun, and the warmth with it has returned to Manitoba!
The snow is gone and the temp yesterday was close to 80 deg. F (26 C)!!!

Isn't it funny how everything in life looks brighter when the sun is shining.

Before leaving on Thursday I had a couple of hours to kill, so I made a myself a new purse.

I used fabric that I had on hand and
as you know, I LOVE red!
And how fun is the turquoise flower on it.
I love it.

And here it is with a navy flower on it.

It's definitely not a purse that you can wear with just anything, but it looks super cute with a jean skirt and a simple blouse.

Then yesterday I found two vintage clutches at a thrift store, for $3.99 each.

Aren't they adorable?

I went to our Ladies Conference this weekend and we had a truly marvellous time.
God's presence was rich and sweet.
Cindy Miller, an Author, Professor and Marriage Counsellor, was our speaker.
I am on the committee and I register everyone, I loved greeting the ladies as they arrive.
My strength is dealing with people one on one, so you can imagine how much I enjoy my task.

Myself on the right and my fellow committee member and Pastor's wife, Jane Fortaleza on the left.
Center is our Ladies President, Ruth Wittmeier.
They are a joy to work with.

Have a lovely day and thank you for coming by, I'm off for my morning walk!

The purse is adorable. I have a weakness for red too.
What a blessing it must be to gather with Christian sisters
and be able to use the gift the
Lord has blessed you with!
Sounds like fun.
