RED RIVER RISING

Hi,
I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day.
My dear son with his wife and children took me for lunch. We dined at a new East Indian restaurant in town.
The food was very delicious!

How do you busy women blog more than once a week?
I am so far behind, I don't know if I'll ever catch up...

On my walk today I caught the river with the sun going down.
I took it with my iPhone, and you can see the water up amongst the trees.
Our spring was so slow in coming that the flood waters were kept at a minimum.

Have a wonderful week!

Hugs,
Cindy

Your Mother's Day treat sounds like...at treat!
I'm glad to hear that the threat of flooding isn't too bad. I remember driving through Winnipeg in '97 and the terrible flooding there was.

Happy to hear you had such a nice Mother's Day. What a pretty picture you have shared. I'd be interested to know what you had to eat at the restaurant - sounds very unique. Hope you have a lovely day.

Hi Cindy, I miss your posts but I know you are very busy with your sewing, etc. You are creating in another way. :) Do you think the Red River will cause great flooding after the slow late spring? I hope not. Enjoy your days. We'll be here watching for your posts. Blessings. Pam

Hi Cindy! I'm so glad you had a great Mother's Day! Mine was really quiet.
You amaze me at how disciplined you are with your walks! I'm rather lazy! :) Love your pretty snaps and hoping warmer weather is on it's way at your house.
Thanks for popping in to see me.
be a sweetie,

Cindy, it sounds like you had a lovely Mother's Day. Since I am taking care of my baby granddaughter all week during the day I've also fallen behind online. I try not to stress over it and keep my priorities straight. It's always a nice treat to catch up reading favorite blogs, like yours! :)
