Vintage Finds

Hello my friends!
I had a wonderful time away from home and technology.
I spent all my time with my daughter and her family.

But, before I left I was able to spend time with our sweet daughter Marissa, who was here in-between jobs.
While out shopping in the old part of town, where all the shops are in buildings a hundred years old or so, we found this sweet little clock.
Isn't it adorable?

Seeing it up there makes me smile.
(Yes, I know I need to hide the cord. It was taped down nicely before it fell off the wall.)
I drilled a hole and put it up yesterday.
It won't fall down now.

I found this sweet little canister while with my oldest daughter and grandkids in the north-western part of the USA.

I found this darling little butter dish at an Antique store while thrift store shopping with my daughter and friend Jackie.
Jackie is a reader of my blog and a kindred spirit.

I took a few photos at her real life farm house, but didn't ask permission to use them.
If you're reading this Jackie, let me know if it's all right to use them or not.

I have a couple more finds to show you, but they will have to wait.

A big thank you to Brenda from Cozy Little House, she is a dear heart for featuring my kitchen a couple of weeks ago.
Thank you, Brenda!
And thank you to Faye of The Blessed Hearth, too. She did a whole post about me.
I was blushing after reading that one.
Meeting people like Brenda and Faye is just one of the things that make blogging so much fun.

It snowed all morning long today now the sun is out and the temp is 41 deg F.
That's good, yesterday the temp did not go above 32 deg. F.

I'm off for my walk!

Have a wonderful week and thank you for coming by.

ello Cindy, I have to say - I just love your new little red clock. It is so perfect in your beautiful kitchen. Everything goes together so completely. My MIL had a red clock just like yours. It brings back many memories to me. I hope you have a happy week.
