A Glimpse of Christmas

Hello my friends,
I have been very busy and a little under the weather.
But it's time to get back to blogging.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, how do you girls do it day after day after day?!?!?!

I just can't.

My mantel at 6:30 at night, you can see how dark it is already at that time!

Winter descended on us very quickly a
few of weeks ago and I've not "bored you" or should I say, "shown you" any of my winter photos yet.
I have to say, that I LOVE the snow and I love walking in the snow while it is falling from the sky.
It is truly miraculous when you think about it!

The photo above was taken a few days ago.

This one, above was taken yesterday... you can see that it was snowing when I took it...

...this last one was taken today.
The sun was shining, most of the sky was blue with  fluffy clouds that were emitting very fluffy snow.
AND... the moon could be seen,  if you look in the centre above the tree tops, just below the fluffy clouds you will see it.
Did you see it?

It was a great day for walking.
It wasn't cold, so I was happy!!!

One bit of news... my hubby was, just last week, voted in as pastor of a church here in Winnipeg!
I am very excited about this.
He has not pastored for the last four years, but it was time to get back to it.
And God worked it out perfectly, like He tends to do!

Have a good weekend my friends, and thank you so much for coming by!

It was good to hear you back Cindy. I hope you are all better.
Your Christmas decorations must sure bring the feel of the holidays into your home!
Big Congrats to your husband and may you both be blessed by this appointment.

It's lovely to see photos of your snowy world. Good that you were able to get out and enjoy the walk and glad you are feeling better. We don't have snow here and it seems odd that many of our Christmas cards show scenes of snow covered trees, mountains and homes. Traditions from ancestors who came here from England and Europe I think.
Congratulations to your husband on his new appointment.
Keep warm and well Cindy.

Hi Cindy! Your mantel looks so pretty and love the little shelf with the music behind it. I love your snow - it's just beautiful. My feet are cold though thinking about it! :) It's okay not to blog every day. When I first started blogging years ago I thought I had to do it every day and did for a while and then I realized I didn't have to.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia :)

So happy for you and your husband on his new role as pastor...congratulations are in order! Snow is a miracle of nature and I too love the beauty it brings to our city. It softens the harsh lines of buildings and deadens any traffic noise. These photos contain beautiful images of your home and neighbourhood at a most wonderful time of the year!

Dearest Cindy,
As you mentionned on this post, sometimes I really don't know how to manage business, take care of a family and blogging! I try hard to combine this all but sometimes I don't find time to blog or leave comments on my friends' blogs. Please, forgive me to not have commented since a long time! But I do read all of your blogposts?
Beautiful photos of the snowy landscape today! Here in Belgium it has snown only for one day. But weather computers forecast a snowy month of december. We will see...
Congratulations with your hubby! You must be so proud!
I wish you a wonderful weekend my dear friend!

Congrats to your husband my friend and yes, to you too! Many blessings and may our Lord guide him in this new life. Lovely images of snow, I used to loved it specially come C'mas time.

I hope you are feeling better soon Cindy. I know how much you enjoy decorating for Christmas. I do like to see the snow fall but just wish that our winters were shorter. Congratulations to your husband! This Christmas will be especially meaningful for you both!

Congratulations to your husband, Cindy! That is wonderful news!

It has been unusually mild here but I heard that will change this week and we should be getting snow. I don't mind --it will put me in the Christmas spirit even more.

Have a good week and stay warm! :)

Hey Cindy!!!

I found you via the sweet note on my fb page. How kind of you to stop with such compliments. I LOVE your cozy living room pic on your fb page. I couldn't comment from my business page, but I wanted to!

I'm so very jealous that you live in such a beautiful snowy place. I adore winter and snow, so naturally I ended up in living in Houston,TX. :P

Sorry to hear that you've been not feeling well. I hope you're feeling much better. I guess if you're able to withstand your daily walks IN THE SNOW! you must be doing better. :)
Such lovely photos. We are having temps in the upper 60's and 70s this week...(last I heard).
Congrats on the new Pastoral position for your hubby (and you, being a pastor's wife). That is a big job--

Hi Cindy I just love the snow! I don't think we will get snow this year, it's been far too warm even now the temperatures haven't dropped that much....although one can hope! Congratulations of your hubby becoming pastor once again! God's timing is always different to ours but He's always on time and never late! Blessings! Sharon x
