Christmas Lights

Hello my friend,
I am writing to you tonight from a very snowy Winnipeg.
It started to snow yesterday afternoon and has not let up since.
We have gotten a good six inches today alone.
We don't usually get huge snowfalls at one time,
so this is a wee bit unusual.
We now have a foot of snow on the ground.

The lights are up...

The tree is on its way home... in my Christmas village.

And I've already redone above the mantel.
Have you been busy doing and re-doing?

No decorating here yet but I will soon. Your snow photos are beautiful and the tree on top of the old car is just cute.
Stay warm! Your arctic front will get to Oklahoma tonight

Love your little truck with the tree tied on it. I started decorating today- a bit behind schedule. Happy Snow Days! xo Diana

Cute little truck/car with the Christmas tree on top. love it.
The snow looks lovely. I'd love to get some snow--especially before Christmas. It was 79° today--and supposed to be in the upper 30's by Friday! No snow...but some 'winter mix' is being predicted. (winter mix just means; it might rain, and then freeze over night-OR- it could sleet and stick and freeze over night. :/
Hardly ever snow. LOL!

I love Christmas villages. WE had one when I was growing up but it seems to have been given to different people now and I wish I had jumped up and down to have a part of it.
Your lights are lovely.

I like the way you have decorated the outside of your home. It looks so beautiful surrounded with snow. So different from here!
Your indoors looks lovely too.
Yesterday I brought the Christmas tree out and will leave for my grandchildren to decorate.
Hope you are coping with the freezing weather we have heard about on the news.

You typed - The tree is on it's way home

IT'S ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS stands for IT IS. This should have read - The tree is on ITS way home. The way you typed it, it reads - The tree is on IT IS way home.....tsk tsk tsk

The lights shining on your home in the snow are as magical as a snow globe world! Love the softness of the mantel decor and can almost hear the truck put-putting along with its Christmas tree load! Hugs!

I am glad I live where it is still warm. Today was around 80. Next week, however, we will have highs later in the week in the 50's ;-)
